Abstract:	These critical texts, originally published between 1930 and 1965, document Clara Porset's research and ideas on design as a tool for change to improve daily life, especially among the rural and working classes. This is the first edition of Porset's writings published by Alias Editorial, with the support of Comex and the Clara Porset Dumas Archive at the Centro de Investigaciones en Diseño Industrial of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
