Abstract: | Abstract: "In CAD-oriented modelling initial value problems for ode's often appear in quasilinear-implicit form. Therefore we ask for integration schemes which can be transferred efficiently from explicit ode's to linear-implicit or quasilinear-implicit ones. Encouraging earlier results are summarized and generalized for the well-known one-step methods of RK and ROW type. We show that their extensions to partitioned systems, as given by MROW and PRK methods, are suitable for decoupled ode's only. An application from electrical network simulation, the model of a NAND gate, serves as an instructive example and is proposed as a benchmark test." |
