marina toffetti Toffetti is Associate Professor of Musicology at the University of Padua, where she teaches Music Theories and Music Analysis, is a member of the Board of the PhD programme and was supervisor of a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship research project. She graduated in piano, choral conducting, composition, holds a degree cum laude in Modern Literature and has a Ph.D. in Music Philology. She has held seminaries and masterclasses all over Europe and in the USA, has repeatedly been invited as a visiting professor at the lagiellonian University in Cracow and regularly presents the results of her research at international conferences. She has published extensively on music philology, music analysis, the history of music and musical institutions and the dissemination and assimilation of Italian musical culture in Europe (16 th—17 th centuries) and edited scholarly editions of M.A. Ingegneri, G.C. Ardemanio and G. Frescobaldi. She is in the committees for the publication of the complete works by Μ. Uccellini and T. Cecchini and chief editor of G.B. Riccios opera omnia. In 2013 she received the international Italian Heritage Award for “Research, education, and innovation in the protection of cultural heritage” for her scholarly edition and reconstruction of a missing part in the first composition for the theater ever published in Milan. |
