| Abstract: | "Furia narrates a dark episode in the history of Mexico in which the capital was occupied by the United States army, commanded by General Scott. Many died, others had to leave their homes and go far away to survive. There were assaults, looting, bombs exploded and horrendous executions took place in Alameda Central. In response, the rooftops of the City of Palaces were filled with rioters and rebels who, lacking weapons, threw stones at the invaders. Amid all this chaos, a man and a woman fall in love with a passion that could only be compared to the violence of the fire that surrounds them, and that mercilessly truncates the idyll. This is how The Seven, stripped of his beloved Maria, becomes a ghost driven by fury. Thirsty for revenge, El Siete devastates any Yankee who has the misfortune to cross his path and sows fear in the city until he becomes a true legend."-- Back cover |
