Zusammenfassung:Buster zieht um (1922): One of Buster Keaton's best short films ever, "Cops" is a fine showcase of Keaton's physical comedy. A series of mishaps gets him deeper and deeper into trouble, culminating in what appears to be the entire world's police force chasing after him. Keaton's efforts to elude them are both inventive and funny. This short also contains a classic sequence with a horse and an overfull wagon load of furniture. [www.rinkworks.com]
Trauung mit Hindernissen (1920): One of Buster's funniest shorts is "The Scarecrow," which includes a house where everything -able, bed, stove - has more than one function, so that a meal consists of a tour through the parabola of the house's gadgets. [rogerebert.suntimes.com]
Wasser hat keine Balken (1921): Having built a boat in his basement and demolished his house in order to get it out, the unnamed protagonist (Buster Keaton) heads to the sea to take his family sailing. Unfortunately, the boat sinks as soon as it is placed in the water. Undeterred, the hero builds another and this time succeeds in getting it to float. His luck, however, quickly runs out and he encounters a variety of problems, including an unnoted bridge that is not tall enough for his mast to pass under it, leaks caused by his driving a nail into the boat's hull, and a storm which threatens to sink the craft.
