Am Beispiel von mündlichen Beschreibungen eines Rundgangs am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin zeigt die Autorin, wie Zeigegesten mit so genannten Deiktika oder Zeigwörtern wie "hier0 oder "dort0 interagieren, um die eindeutige Lokalisierung von Gegenständen zu ermöglichen. Die daraus resultierende Theorie sprachlichen und gestischen Zeigens bewegt sich in und zwischen den Forschungskontexten der Linguistik, Semiotik und Gestenforschung Main description: The book deals with the fundamental question of how language comprehension and situational comprehension interact with one another.
