Patricia Crone (* 28. März 1945 in Kyndeløse Sydmark (Dänemark); † 11. Juli 2015 in Princeton, New Jersey) war eine dänische Islamwissenschaftlerin.Crones bleibender Beitrag zur Islamwissenschaft ist die grundsätzliche Infragestellung der Historizität der islamischen Überlieferungen über die Anfänge des Islam.
